HIKES AND WALKS IN AMALFI Dozens of small paths and stairways connect these coastal towns and villages, and you may get far more walking (especially up and down) in this steep area than anyone could want. You should be in fairly good condition, with no knee problems to visit Amalfi at all as it is quite hilly. Try a walk between Minori and Ravello...a little piece of heaven by the sea. The best map for serious walkers, who don't get enough just navigating the towns, is the Club Alpino Italiano's Monti Lattari, Peninsola Sorrentina, Costiera Amalfitanan: Carta dei Steiere at 1:30,000 |
