DUBROVNIK ARCHITECTURE

The Dominican monastery and museum was built at the same time as the city wall, during the 14th century. The architecture of the building is a transitional Gothic-Renaissance style. The interior of the monastery features a 15th-century cloister constructed by local artisans. The eastern wing of the monastery contains a large art collection featuring artwork from Dubrovnik's finest 15th and 16th-century artists.
