Two large twins, beautiful mattress and good sleeping.
Wonderful new shower with all the amenities.
Beautifully appointed small kitchenette with no oven, but all you will need for making light meals. (You may borrow your hostess's oven if you need one. She lives just opposite you.)
Washer and dryer available on the premises.
Kitchen and bath on ground floor, bedroom up steep, curving flight of steps.
Recommended only for the sure-footed (because of stairs to bedroom).
You will need a rental car for this destination.
Small indoor living space (although an outdoor terrace is the preferred living room as soon as spring arrives). Steep steps to the bedroom (and back down to the bathroom) - not recommended for anyone with balance or mobility limitations. Do book one of the other lovely places here at the Moulin if you need more space.
Beautiful quiet setting, pretty furnishings and extra small touches. Warm, helpful British owners who live on site. Friendly little dogs on premises (a plus or minus depending on your fondness for dogs! 6 Meter unheated Swimming pool and covered terrace for eating outside.
Some people will find this tiny little "dollhouse" of a building too small, but for others, it will offer a special charm. We especially loved the fact that we went to sleep to the sound of the stream, which flows right next to the house.
Additional tourist taxes (rarely to exceed 1 Euro per person, per day) may apply.

This two-story studio apartment's location is nearly magical, perched on a river, next to a water mill. The gentle rush of the stream will lull you to sleep. The warm welcome and knowledgeable advice bestowed upon you by Chris and Ken, your neighbors and owners of the mill, will further increase your enjoyment.

The nice furnishings of this home balance out the small size of the apartment. In warmer months, your “living room” is the covered terrace adjoining this little building. The front door of the accommodation opens right into the kitchen, which is small and well-appointed, but without an oven. (Chris, your hostess just across the driveway, will lend you hers if you need one). No sitting area is in the kitchen. A nearly palatial bath opens off the kitchen with a large, gorgeous enclosed shower, heated towel racks and other amenities.

The living space is the bedroom straight up a very steep staircase. The bed is terrific but the sitting space here is minimal. If one had a long stretch of rain, (which happens rarely in sunny Dordogne) and one was staying all day in the accommodation, it would be a little tight. As it is, most days are sunny and one is either seeing the sights or enjoying the beauty all around your little dollhouse, on your private terrace with barbeque and garden furniture.
