As you enter this restored 18th-century rural chapel, you are greeted with a pair of arches and a 13-foot high vaulted ceiling in the living room. Walk in further and you find a well-equipped kitchen and dining area. On fine days, instead of using the dining area, open the half-glazed French doors and dine on the large, private terrace. This terrace overlooks the vegetable garden and beautiful rolling hills.

In the living area there are two comfortable loveseats, a writing desk, bookshelves and a wood stove for chillier days (wood is provided). The chapel is attached to the hosts' own house but walls over a meter thick assure good sound insulation. Moreover, the chapel and its garden face in the opposite direction of the hosts' home, thus assuring privacy.

A walk through the alpine flowers in the upland meadows, a swim in high summer in the rock pools of Cagli’s two rivers, and a visit to the late autumn truffle fair in Acqualagna are among the attractions that give this area its particular fascination.

Note: As a conservation measure, Italian law prohibits the heating of residences from April 1 to November 1. Some regional exceptions apply. Please inquire of your host if you have concerns regarding heating in the warmer months.
